This chapter was about how a boy named Greg Heffley doesn't like summer. So he stays in the house. He tried to go swimming at his friends house, but that did not work so very good. His friend owns a country club and he invited a girl to it and the girl fell in love with the life guard. His mom encouraged him to go to the pool in their neighborhood. He swore that he would never go there because he had to go through the mens shower room. So he stayed inside the house.
